In the position shown in Figure 1, the solenoids 1 and 2
are deenergized, the solenoid armatures 3 and 4,
assisted by the pressure springs 5 and 6, cover the
control ducts 7 and 8. The control duct 8 is linked to the
annular duct 9, and the control duct 7 to the annular duct
10. Because of the clearance between the body 11
and the pistons 12 and 13, the control ducts 7 and 8 are
pressurized. The control pistons 14 and 15 are
exhausted via the ducts 16 and 17 or 18 and 19
respectively. Piston 12 closes ducts 20 and 21,
and piston 13 ducts 22 and 23.
The energization of the solenoids 1 and 2 causes the
solenoid armatures 3 and 4 to be pulled against the
pressurized via the ducts 16, 7 and 21, while the upper
side of piston 15 is pressurized via the ducts 18, 8, 23.
This causes the pistons 14 and 12 or 13 and15 to move
to the position shown. P is linked to A via the piston 12
(ducts 21 and 22) or the piston 13 (ducts 23 and 20).
